RadialFX — Terms & Refund Policy

These Terms govern your purchase and use of RadialFX. Use of the Software is also governed by the EULA and Privacy Policy. By purchasing, you agree to these Terms.
1. The product & price
RadialFX is a radial wheel-menu plug-in for Adobe After Effects (Windows; After Effects 2025 or later). It is sold as a lifetime (perpetual) license for $39.99 USD, including 2 device activations for one individual user. Any launch promotional price (e.g., a time-limited $29.99) applies only during its stated window.
2. Merchant of Record
Purchases are processed by Freemius, Inc. as Merchant of Record. Freemius is the seller of record for the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects and remits applicable taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax). Freemius's own terms apply to the transaction and payment.
3. Free trial & how licensing works
A 14-day full-feature free trial runs from first launch — no card, no account. After the trial, tool execution is disabled until you activate a license; your settings are kept. A license activates on up to 2 of your own devices and is validated periodically online (with an offline grace period so you can keep working without a connection). See the EULA and Privacy Policy.
4. Major-version upgrade policy (V2) — binding commitment
RadialFX is licensed for the current major version (v1.x):
- Minor and patch updates (v1.x) are free for all license holders.
- When a new major version (e.g., v2.0) is released, customers who purchased within the 12 months preceding that release receive the major upgrade free. Customers who purchased earlier may upgrade at a 50% discount. This policy is presented at checkout and applies to your purchase from the date of sale.
5. 30-day money-back guarantee
If RadialFX isn't right for you, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. Email support@radialfx.app (or use the Freemius order link) with your order details; refunds are processed by Freemius back to your original payment method. On refund, your license is deactivated. (The free 14-day trial is provided so you can evaluate before paying; the guarantee is additional risk-reversal.)
6. License terms & restrictions
Your use of the Software is subject to the EULA, including the restrictions on redistribution, license-key sharing beyond your activations, and reverse-engineering of the licensing system.
7. Support
Support is provided via support@radialfx.app and @radialfxapp on Instagram. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The disclaimers of warranty and limitations of liability in the EULA (§§8–9) apply to your purchase and use. Always back up your After Effects projects.
9. Governing law
Except where Freemius's MoR terms govern the transaction, these Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico (Nuevo León).
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change. Changes do not retroactively reduce the upgrade or refund rights attached to a completed purchase.
